More Fun with Macro

Met this little guy at a planter on Wacker Drive on the way home the other day. He was a calm little fellow, and seemed quite content to sit still and pose for pictures, even with flash.

The lens is a borrowed Nikon 28-105 f/3.5 – 5.6 with a macro switch. I hear if you can find one on Ebay, they run about a hundred bucks or so.  And if you don’t care about VR or all that fancy stuff, it even makes a pretty good carry around lens. All the same, some day, I really need to spring for a dedicated macro lens.  Add it to the list, I suppose…

Great Old Disused Bridge

Spent a lunch hour earlier this month shooting this great old drawbridge with Greg.  Grateful he pointed it out – neat place!
